Philosophy & Approach
Therapy is a collaborative journey where I meet you exactly where you are, offering support and guidance as you reconnect with your strengths and reshape your narrative. I work with adults who are ready to create meaningful, sustainable change in their lives.
I believe every person possesses unique strengths and inner wisdom that can be harnessed to overcome challenges and navigate life's transitions. My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, mindfulness-based, and strength-focused—designed to empower you as the primary agent of change in your own life as you work toward emotional and spiritual well-being.
My style is direct and actively engaged. I bring both clinical expertise and intuition to our work together, trusting that deeper insights often emerge when we create space for honest, authentic dialogue. I address the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—honoring your individual experience within the context of your culture and community. Through deep listening, non-judgmental support, and compassionate guidance, I'll support your journey toward greater authenticity and wholeness.
Background
My path to therapy has been shaped by a lifelong commitment to creativity, learning, and personal growth. I began my career in technology and graphic arts, working across trades, corporate settings, and independently as a craftsperson, consultant, and trainer. Over time, I found myself increasingly drawn to deeper questions about human connection, meaning, and healing—ultimately leading me to earn my Master's degree in Counseling and Art Therapy.
This diverse background informs my practice today, allowing me to bring both technical skill and creative insight to the therapeutic relationship, while honoring the intuitive wisdom that guides transformative work.
